What they ended up doing was adding a strap over top of the holster to attach it to the shoulder harness. MTR finally got back to me and stated they weren't about to fix the original holster and would need to design a new holster. Since I wear at a cant, you can see where that new top strap would interfere with the optics while drawing the pistol. This is what used to attach the holster to the shoulder rig. I outlined where the original strap was that held the metal piece (that the arrow points to). I had already made adjustments to the shoulder harness so while the holster was out for repairs, I went ahead and cut off the excessive straps assuming I would get the holster back shortly. After a couple of emails, they finally responded requesting I return the retention strap (to be replaced) and the holster itself so they could "fix" it.

After about a week of trying to reach them via phone, I sent them an email. I ended up cutting approximately 1/8" off the leather wrapped around the holster hoping this would solve the problem. Note: I couldn't "use" it as there was ZERO retention. I figured it would resolve itself as I continued to use it. It appeared the end of the strap was interfering with the piece of leather wrapped around the holster (to attach the holster to the shoulder harness). From day one, the retention strap wouldn't stay snapped. The biggest issue was the retention strap on the holster itself. It snaps on to the magazine holder so a new one with the snap on the correct side would fix this. The raw side of the leather was facing out. The first (and easily fixed) was the right side retention strap (snaps on to the magazine holder) was backwards. I received the holster within the (3) weeks. For an add'l 50% charge, they could provide the item within (3) weeks. Lead time was about (20) weeks but there was an expedited option. I ordered a custom leather shoulder holster from MTR Custom Leather in Ramseur, NC on 12.1.20.
